“We are investing in the construction of Ba Thien II Industrial Park in Binh Xuyen district with a total planned area of 308 hectares. In the first phase of the project, Vina-CPK has completed land clearance, investment in construction and infrastructure development for an area of approximately 204 hectares.”
The occupancy rate of the cleared land area at Ba Thien II Industrial Park has reached 100%, with many large enterprises from various countries and territories such as TAL Vietnam, Nippon Paint, VPIC 1, Assa Abloy, etc. Although the production and business activities of investors in Ba Thien II Industrial Park are spread across many fields and industries, they all focus on high-tech and environmentally friendly manufacturing and business sectors.
For the remaining area of the project (approximately 104 hectares), land compensation and clearance work has been actively implemented by Vina-CPK in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Xuyen district since 2019. However, due to the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, land compensation and clearance in this phase was interrupted. In addition, the disagreement of some households with the compensation plan based on land prices at this stage has caused considerable difficulties in the land compensation and clearance process.
However, with the decisive involvement of the Vinh Phuc provincial authorities and the determination of the investor, especially after the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Council issued Resolution No. 01/2021 dated March 8, 2021, on the policy of rewarding land handover and rapid relocation to facilitate and promote land compensation and clearance work throughout the province, and the Binh Xuyen District People's Committee issued Decision No. 1155/2021 dated April 27, 2021, on adjusting land prices, land compensation and clearance work for the project has been accelerated since the end of 2021 and has achieved very positive results.

With the goal of completing land clearance definitively in 2023, Vina-CPK has been actively coordinating with the Binh Xuyen District Investment and Construction Project Management Board and the Trung My Commune People's Committee to ensure that implementation procedures comply with legal regulations. Simultaneously, Vina-CPK is considering additional support mechanisms and policies for the people, in addition to the general policies of the State. Accordingly, Vina-CPK commits to and guarantees to have sufficient resources ready to pay compensation and support to the people as soon as the relevant agencies complete the dossiers, procedures, and approved plans.
Given the high demand from investors, mostly foreign, for information and land leases in the Ba Thien II Industrial Park, Vina-CPK and the District People's Committee are focusing all resources on completing the land clearance for the remaining approximately 104 hectares. Priority is given to resolving the remaining 82 hectares in Trung My commune to hand over to Vina-CPK for infrastructure development and investment attraction. The remaining area in Ba Hien town and Thien Ke commune will be addressed immediately after the land in Trung My commune is recovered.
By the end of 2022, over 50 hectares out of a total of 82 hectares in Trung My commune had completed land compensation and clearance work. Procedures are being finalized to hand over the land to the company in order to accelerate the construction of technical infrastructure and attract large investors who are interested in and wish to implement the project soon.
The company and the authorities of Binh Xuyen district and related communes are actively implementing steps including carrying out resettlement projects to relocate households within the project area, aiming to complete compensation and land clearance for the remaining area of the project in 2023.”

“In the final months of the year, export indicators declined, and many signals and forecasts were unfavorable for the first months of the year for Vietnam as well as the whole world regarding the growth of the manufacturing sector, especially the consumer electronics industry. New electronics orders worldwide have begun to decline sharply since the second half of this year, affecting the consumer electronics sector more than industrial products. This impact is widespread across the three main export destinations of Vietnam: the US, China, and Europe.”
Haast Vietnam, established in 2019, is a manufacturer with a strong commitment and systematic investment. Its unique positioning includes a large factory area, a specialized R&D department, and modern, integrated machinery and equipment, aiming to provide comprehensive, high-quality solutions rather than simply outsourcing. 2022 was considered a pivotal year for Haast to truly define its effective business strategy, identify its target industries and customer segments, and delve into research, product development, and solution design for clients. Given the less-than-optimistic growth forecast for 2023, the leadership of Haast Vietnam and Giza Group have implemented several proactive measures to ensure flexible adaptation during this challenging period.

Firstly, strengthen connections with existing manufacturing partners to understand the issues, grasp the business strategies and plans of customers, thereby coordinating effectively and supporting each other during difficult times.
Secondly, proactively seek new customers to maximize production capacity, through existing partners as well as those of member companies within the group.
Thirdly, conducting in-depth research into the needs of partner customers, identifying niche markets, proactively researching and developing products, and proposing new products will create new demand and markets. In addition to the smart home products that Haast's R&D team is developing based on orders from North American customers, the company is also collaborating with partners to research and develop several new, market-leading materials.
Fourth, improve production management capabilities and personnel quality to meet the high standards of demanding customers in markets such as Europe, North America, and Japan. Because orders may decrease in the short term, customers still require companies like Haast to be proactive and flexible in meeting their requirements.
Fifth, proactively seek out, connect with, and build a network of manufacturing partners for Haast, aiming to transform Haast into a manufacturing hub, OEM/ODM unit in the field of mobility and smart home appliances, and a complete original product research and development center. In fact, the ability to provide comprehensive services will lead existing customers to shift more orders to Haast for manufacturing in the coming year.
Short-term order cuts or shortages will affect Haast's operations and production. However, amidst the crisis lies opportunity, and the company is continuously striving to improve and meet customer demands, ready for the market's return.

"Daikin (Japan) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of air conditioning equipment. With the ability to develop a full range of products from air conditioners to refrigerants, Daikin has built a strong presence in five major regions including Japan, China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America."
Daikin currently has 81 manufacturing plants worldwide. In Vietnam, the most modern air conditioner manufacturing plant in Southeast Asia, bearing the Daikin brand, has been operational since 2018. This plant has achieved stable production capacity and has become a key supplier of products to Vietnam, with plans to export to other regions in the future. This achievement is largely due to Daikin's impressive investment in advanced technology and its world-renowned Japanese-standard quality control.
Currently, the factory in Vietnam is the first Daikin factory in the world to install a modular production line with the most advanced technology, and it is considered the standard for the group's subsequent production lines globally. The modular production line allows for easy and flexible installation, paving the way for the updating of new technologies, thereby continuously innovating to access the most modern production lines.
With experience working at numerous Daikin factories around the world, I can confidently say that Daikin Vietnam is second to none. From the input of components to the finished products leaving the warehouse, everything is transported automatically using an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) system and modern conveyor belts. The flow of information and production instructions from component manufacturing to finished products is also completely automated...
Daikin's policy is to build a factory wherever air conditioners are sold. Vietnam is also one of the developing markets and will continue to expand in the future. In Vietnam, Daikin is the only manufacturer of high-end air conditioners. Therefore, Daikin will expand its factory and produce even better products to quickly bring them to consumers.
Although there are many other brands on the market, Daikin's strength lies in its service. If there is a problem, consumers can contact Daikin and it will immediately handle it to provide the best experience when using Daikin products. This is what differentiates Daikin from other brands.”
